WELLNESS EXAMS
At Academy West Animal Hospital, we provide thorough wellness exams for your pet to ensure they are healthy and happy.
MICROCHIPPING
Microchipping is essential for ensuring that your pet can be found if they are ever lost. Let us help keep your pet safe and secure.
VACCINATIONS
At Academy West Animal Hospital, we offer all the necessary vaccinations to keep your pet healthy and protected from common illnesses and diseases.

GROOMING
Our grooming services will leave your pet looking and feeling their best. From baths and haircuts to nail trimming, anal gland expressions and ear cleaning, we'll take care of all your pet's grooming needs.

Oral health is important for your pet's overall well-being. Our dental care services include cleanings, extractions, and more to keep your pet's teeth and gums healthy.
BOARDING
When you need to travel, leave your pet with us for a safe and comfortable stay. Our boarding facilities are clean, spacious, and staffed with caring professionals.
DIAGNOSTICS
We offer a wide range of diagnostic testing including blood tests, urinalysis, fecal exams, radiology, ultrasonography, oncology consultations and much more.
Discounts and Plans
We offer multiple packages for puppies, kittens, and seniors to help get your pet what they need at discount pricing. We also work with Maricopa County, the Humane Society and AKC to offer a free courtesy exam within 10 days after you adopt from them.

We are appointment based and will do our best to fit you in as soon as possible.

If your pet is having an emergency, give us a call to see if our doctors are able to see you or we can refer to you the closest emergency hospital near you.
​
Surgery drop-off is between 8-8:30 am. Please make sure you fast your pet after midnight, unless told otherwise.
​
If you are unable to make your appointment, please give us a courtesy call at least 2 hours prior to your appointment to reschedule or cancel. If you fail to call us, you may be charged with a no-show fee that you will be required to pay at the time of your next appointment.

All appointments have a 15-minute grace period, however if you do not call us ahead of time to let us know you will be later than 15 minutes, you may be charged with a late fee.

Our boarding prices are based off of weight. Pick up is before 12 pm, otherwise you will be charged for another day of boarding, unless your pet is being groomed.
For dogs, our vaccine requirements are DAPP, Rabies, Bordetella and Influenza.
For cats, our vaccine requirements are FVRCP and Rabies, however we highly recommend FeLV also.

We will be closed from 11am-2:00pm on 12/20/23 for our annual Christmas party.
We will be closed on Christmas Day and return to normal hours Tuesday 12/26/23.
We will be closed on New Years Day and will return to normal hours Tuesday 1/2/24 .
